Winter Wedding at Vine Street Church | Nashville, TN

This past year I had the pleasure of leading Kara and Bobby through my Full Wedding Planning services, which culminated in a beautiful Christmas-themed wedding ceremony at Vine Street Church and reception at The Loveless Barn in Nashville, Tennessee.

Planning with Kara was a wonderful experience. We were able to work out her vision early on and booked vendors to reflect her needs and wishes. By the time the 3-month consultation with the Loveless rolled around we were fully prepared with the timeline, decor choices, menu selections, and all other prevalent details.

Wedding day was cold and windy but that didn't stop this sweet couple from taking some fun photos with their beloved dog Tanner.

The ceremony was romantic and sweet with a live pianist playing the music. Decor included pew markers and a large altar arrangement which was flipped to the head table at the reception. At the conclusion of the ceremony, guests wished the couple well with a rose petal toss.

After the ceremony guests were shuttled over to the Loveless Barn for cocktail hour while the couple and family wrapped up photos at Vine Street Church. After photos the couple arrived at Loveless and prepared to be announced into the reception with the wedding party. After a welcome speech and blessing from Kara's family the stations were open and dinner service began. Dinner was wrapped up with heartfelt toasts and the cake cutting.

Then the Emerald Empire Band took the stage and played the formal dance songs before opening up the dancefloor. The rest of the evening was filled with fun, laughter, and dancing as the couple spent time with family and friends. The night was completed by a final dance.

Reception decor kept to the romantic Christmas theme with beautiful candle/greenery centerpieces and a large garland on the head table. The couple also added personal touches like a smores station, sloth cake toppers, and themed cocktails named for their dog Tanner.

Kara and Bobby are a sweet, fun-loving couple. It was a joy working with them and bringing their wedding day vision to life.
